- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆We reached out to First Colony Mortgage after looking at some EDGE homes in Herriman, UT (First Colony Mortgage is their preferred lender). After calling several times over several days, we finally got a call back from Corey, but only after the EDGE homes realtor got involved. We gave him the information he said he needed in order to get us a pre-approval letter. Very quickly after we gave him our information, he said we were pre-approved and that he would send the letter to us the next day. We never received the pre-approval letter, even after texting him and emailing him multiple times to follow up. Not only did we not get the letter, but we never got any sort of response from him, ever, weeks later. His/their lack of response was both unprofessional and rude. Needless to say we went with another lender. I would never recommend First Colony Mortgage.By Trey Fanning, May 17, 2017
